Everyones favorite free, family summer concert series, Music in the Park begins in June and has something to offer for all musical tastes.
Favorite Bensenville restaurants sell dinner and dessert items, so families can have dinner in the park prior to the concert. Early in the evening, there are free games, giveaways and an artist drawing caricatures for kids of all ages. Each concert night includes a Classic Car Show and a 50/50 split the pot raffle that benefits our local charities and civic organizations. We look forward to another fun and exciting year of Music in the Park.

The Morton Grove Park District offers 8 evenings of exceptional musical entertainment each summer as part of its FREE Tunes on Tuesday summer concert series. Concerts are held on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm during the months of June and July. Concerts are held at Harrer Park Pavilion in the north end of the park. Harrer Park is located at 6250 Dempster Street. At each concert, a different local restaurant is featured. All of the concerts will be held in Settlers Park at the Richard A. Rock Amphitheater. Settlers Park is located in downtown Plainfield, southeast of the intersection of Lockport Street and Van Dyke Road and just south of the Village Hall. Parking is available in the Village Hall Parking Lot, on Village Center Drive, and on Van Dyke Road.
Terraced seating is available. Attendees are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concessions will be sold by MainStreet Plainfield, Inc. at the new Settlers Park Concession Facility.

Parking Fees: $20 per car, $25 on weekends and federal holidays (includes tax) Unwind after your work day as you listen to relaxing performances by local musicians set on the Chicago Botanic Garden's front lawn. This live musical series showcases an assortment of genres including Spanish guitar, jazz, and blues. Enjoy an enchanting one-hour musical performance of carillon bells on a warm summer evening and watch lights illuminate Evening Island.
Through a regularly scheduled series of concerts each summer, carillonneurs from around the world delight Garden visitors with the captivating music of the 48-bell Theodore C. Butz Memorial Carillon. Meet the performers and enjoy a free carillon tour and demonstration before the concertyou can even try your hand at ringing the bells.
Since 1986, the carillon has remained both a noted landmark and a source of remarkable music at the Garden. Crafted in Holland, the tower's bronze bells and playing device with a range of four octaves constitutes one of the few hand-played carillons in the nation.

This summer marks the 35th anniversary of the 10th and final Goodtymes Picnic in the Sports Complex. The Goodtymes Shelter, where the Summer Concert Series is held, was built by the Goodtymes Committee in 1981 as a way to share the enjoyment and usability of the space they loved with many generations of park users to come. In commemoration, members of the group will present a formal dedication plaque before this evenings concert.

On Thursday the Westmont Street Fair will be kick off!. This years event promises to be bigger and better than ever.
To accommodate the continuing growth of the event, weve secured permission from the Village to close an additional block of Cass Avenue for the event, says Westmont Special Events President John Chorney. A lot of downtown businesses have embraced this event and will have specials and outdoor promotions. NEAT Restaurant will be hosting a lot of new activities including laser tag and live music. It is our hope to bring visitors to Westmont, which will help promote our central business district and brand our downtown as a destination that provides fun for the whole family.
The Westmont Street Fair will be held on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in June, July and August in downtown Westmont. Set-up on Cass begins at 4:30 p.m. New this year, Cass Avenue will be closed for three blocks from Burlington Avenue to Naperville Road. Fest, $0 Rockin' in The Park 2018! Parkway Bank Park, 5501 Park Place (btwn Bryn Mawr & Balmoral W of River Rd), Rosemont, Admission is free, parking is free with validation! Rockin' in the Park is a summer-long concert series every Thursday night starting June 1st at 7pm thru Aug. 31st. The festival features live bands, fireworks after every concert and food and beverage tents from the restaurants located within MB Park. Were bringing a little Ravinia to Lake in the Hills food, drinks, and entertainment under the evening sky! Pack up the family, the folding chairs, the bug spray, and head over to Village Hall for an evening of fun.
