  • A wonderful home in a quiet are near Ostuni and Cisternino. Isa was helpful, and the house was as described in the photos and descriptions. An added bonus for us was being here in the spring, flowers blooming everywhere making everything feel alive. Very happy in this lovely home.

  • We had a fantastic stay at Trullo aromatic green. The house is full of character, beautifully furnished (lots of Indian antiques and modern Italian design) and idyllically situated at the top of a hill with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The house is fringed with little terraces for lounging and eating outdoors. The inside is charming and cosy (not nearly as small as we had feared from looking at the historic Trullos in Alberobella (a world heritage site). It keeps warm in winter and cool in the scorching summers. We lit a cosy wood fire several times (May evenings are pleasantly cool). Foodwise, we loved the saturday food market in Ostuni, the cityper supermarket (for convenience) and the superb Osteria del Tempo Perso restaurant in a cave in the old town. Don't be put off by seeing 'donkey' as a local delicacy on the menu. The food in Puglia is better than almost anywhere else in Italy (dare we say Europe). Isa is a kind, relaxed and generous host. She is nonintrusive, but ready to help whenever needed. She arrived one morning with a tray of cakes to cheer us up when we got a punctured tyre and took us to her tyre specialist for a fast and cheap repair. We couldn't have been happier.

  • The Trullo was fantastic! We loved every minute. It was the perfect home base for our Puglia vacation. Isa was a lovely host with fantastic suggestions that made us feel like locals - right at home. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

  • Our stay at Trullo Aromatic Green was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, relaxing, authentic Puglia. Well located, homely and comfortably furnished, we had a great time.

  • Isa is a very gracious and generous host who provided us with plenty of information on the surrounding area. The house is a fantastic place to spend a week relaxing. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. We loved the town of Cisternino, which is only a 10 minute drive from the house. For any vegans, we can recommend a little restaurant we came across in Cisternino called Romy and Jole. Thank you Isa for a wonderful stay!

  • Trullo Aromatic Green was great! My wife and a couple of friends just spent a week there. The house is absolutely beautiful, with good design integrating modernity with the traditional trullo and well-chosen furnishings. There are two double bedrooms, each with its own bath, very private, so excellent for two couples or couple with kids. No AC, which was fine for June -- don't know about July and August. A great place to cook italian meals with excellent fresh ingredients from the Cisternino veg market (7 km). The grounds are lovely -- olive groves, apricot trees bearing delicious fruit, lovely patios on three sides of the house, even a threshing floor! Rough dirt road getting there, but that's part of the beauty. A great place from which to explore Ostuni (7 km), the coast (maybe 10 km), and other small towns. We went as far as Matera (about 2 hours). Isa is lovely: friendly but unintrusive, offering her help and conversation only as much as you might want. It's great to have a smart, friendly hostess, happy to answer questions (we enjoyed half in english and half in italian) and offer information. I would highly recommend this place to almost anyone.

  • This is a beautiful Trulli house in spacious grounds, in a good location between the towns of Ostuni and Cisternino. The house is well appointed and a perfect location for two couples.

  • Isa is a beyond wonderful and kind host and was so welcoming and helpful to us on our first trip to Puglia. Her Trullo is a dream of a place sat atop a hill in a raw, wild and beautiful landscape surrounded by olive and fig trees and draped in grape vines. We very much enjoyed our stay, Isa was kind enough to collect us from Ostuni station and deliver us at the end to Bari airport, otherwise we would have been stranded! She makes excellent suggestions on all subjects, in particular the best beaches, and where to find local specialities. We thoroughly recommend this Trullo, if you are looking for a remote and beautiful place to catch your breath. We did find, however, that you ideally need a car if you want to explore, which you will want to do!
