Cranberry Orange Sauce - THANKSGIVING
Fresh OJ adds extra tang to Thanksgiving's classic cranberry side.
cranberries (fresh or frozen)
light brown sugar
fresh orange juice (from 2 oranges)
sprig fresh rosemary
- In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugars, 1 1/2 teaspoon orange zest, orange juice, ginger, and rosemary.
- Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, 15 to 20 minutes. Discard rosemary and serve warm or at room temperature, sprinkled with remaining orange zest.
